Los Balcones is a small urbanisation set between Punta Prima and Torrevieja, quite close to the new Torrevieja Hospital. (actually on the back road form La Zenia to Torrevieja).
It is self contained community offering the resident or holidaymaker all the facilities needed including supermarkets, hardware stores, sports, pharmacies, banks and a number of local bars, cafes and restaurants. The centro comercial of Los Balcones is popular with Spanish and ex pats alike.
The beaches of Punta Prima and Torrevieja are a short 5 minutes drive, as are all the amenities offered by a multi cultural city like Torrevieja which is only 3 km away. La Zenia is a short trip down the 332 as well. Made up of beautiful villas and apartments this is an area of Costa Blanca, Spain where there are a large number of full time residents all year round, again Spanish mixed with foreign. The gorgeous mild climate and sunshine for more than 300 day annually together with the ease of access makes this area highly desirable for both permanent residents and holidaymakers. The cinema of Torrevieja which shows newly released English movies daily and the aquapark are a short drive away.
Los Balcones properties tend to be larger than the typical Costa Blanca property. We have sold many detached villas here more so than the normal two bedroom apartment. If you want value for your euro, Los Balcones is worth investigating, with detached property averaging 275,000 euro in price for a four bedroom place with a 700 m plot for example.
