La Florida is located in Playa Flamenca, a 10 minute walk from Zenia Boulevard with its many and varied shops, bars and restaurants.

La Florida is a large residential development with a vibrant commercial centre which offers plenty of choice for eating out, Italian, Indian, French, Spanish and English. The Emerald Isle Leisure complex is situated here and caters to every age group – play area and pool for the little ones to a Bowling Green for the older. Nightly entertainment is very popular here with many tribute acts performing such as Abba, Showaddywaddy and Rod Stewart., not the real ones, tribute ones!!! From breakfast through to dinner there is a menu to suit everyone’s taste and the Sunday Roast attracts customers from far and near. The communal area for swimming is a big attraction for family fun during the warm summer days in Spain.

Another popular bar is The Local which has fabulous entertainment, fantastic food and happy friendly staff. Here too you can watch all the English and Scottish football and all sports fixtures. The well known Indian Restaurant Mumbai Blue is one of the best authentic Indian restaurants on the Costa Blanca and well worth a visit. This compact commercial centre also has a hardware store for all your DIY, Car Hire to explore the wonderful Costa Blanca, and Supermarkets for that night in or to get your holiday sun creams, chairs and towels! The large Saturday market is only a 5 minute walk away and the famous beaches of Playa Flamenca a 5 minute drive. There is a lovely park area here where you can just sit and enjoy the heat of the Spanish sun or find a nice shady tree to have your siesta under.
